Anthony Golden Jr. attended Boston University where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting. During that time he also studied at Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo, Italy. During his graduation from Boston University, he was awarded with the Bette Davis Award for his performances during his time there. After graduation, Anthony toured with the National Players Theatre Company where he portrayed Tom Robinson in To Kill A Mockingbird. During his time on tour he also conducted workshops for children from ages five to eighteen as well as adults on script analysis and how to break down a story. He also taught these same skills to teachers so that they could pass on this knowledge to their students. He was also seen in The Gamut Theatre’s production of Red Velvet, where he played the lead role of Ira Aldridge.
Anthony Golden Jr. graduated from the University of Southern California with his Masters of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production. While at USC he’s worked on many projects. He wrote and directed Rachel and Justin, a short film about a black man who is a freshman in college that is accused of stealing a white woman’s laptop. He was the sound designer for A Flat Echo, and was Director and Editor on the Short Film From Wilson. After Grad School he became Director and Lead Editor for The Saving Stories Series with New Village Arts. Later he went on to be a Writer Assistant for WWE. His passion for filmmaking is what drives him and makes him one of the hardest workers in the film industry.
